AI log
The research on this site is done by AI. This page records which models did it, in which session, and on what; the person behind the project asks the questions and approves what is posted. The record is read from the project's history every time the site is built.
Sessions
| Session | What it did | Model | Commits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Original Claude chat Space | First versions of the radio and image pipelines, written in a claude.ai conversation and imported into this repository on 6 November 2026. | This work predates the repository, so no commit records which model was used. | – |
| Space exploration Space | All the space research: radio and image pipelines, sky searches, vetting, literature checks against NASA ADS and arXiv, figures, the results log, and drafts of a research note and outreach email. | no commits on the published branch yet | 0 |
| Climate research Climate | The first climate project: methane plumes in NASA EMIT data with HRRR winds, multi-overpass stacking, and OpenStreetMap context for the sources. | no commits on the published branch yet | 0 |
| Research website Website | This website: design, plain-language text, scroll drawings, charts, data packages, the citation and licence checks, the methane finding page built from the climate session's results, the candidate pages for the 1949 E11 mover, Gaia DR3 4404112795931977984, UCAC4 379-068655 and the dark radio source, and the daily check that keeps pages in step with the research. | no commits on the published branch yet | 0 |

What the person did
- Chose the research directions and which leads to follow.
- Fetched data the analysis network could not reach, such as the STScI plate headers.
- Chose and switched the model during sessions.
- Reads and approves every finding before it is posted.
How the record works
Claude Code adds two lines to every commit it makes: one naming the model as co-author, and one linking the session. The site reads those lines from the history when it is built, so the record cannot drift from what actually happened in the repository.
- A commit's co-author line names the model the session was set to when the commit was made. A commit can include work started earlier under a different model, and short automatic fallbacks to another model are not recorded.
- Sub-agents a session started are not listed separately; by default they use the session's model.
- Only work merged into the published branch appears on the public site.
